 Statewide & Regional Hotlines

  • United Way 2-1-1: Dial 211 or 651-291-0211 for 24/7 confidential referrals for food, shelter, and basic needs.
  • Day One Services (Domestic Violence): Call 866-223-1111 or text 612-399-9995 for 24/7 connection to safe housing if fleeing abuse or trafficking.
  • Youth Services Network: Visit Youth Services Network to locate real-time housing and shelter options for youth and young adults age 24 and under.


 Ramsey County Shelter Entry & Diversion Team

  • Single Adults Line: Call 651-266-1050 or email ShelterEntry@ramseycounty.us.
  • Families Line: Call 651-266-7818 (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
  • In-Person Intake: Visit the second floor of the Saint Paul Opportunity Center (422 Dorothy Day Place). Hours are Monday–Friday (10:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.) and weekends (1:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.).
  • After-Hours Support: If you need a bed after 9:30 p.m., call 2-1-1 United Way at 651-291-0211 (for families) or call Model Cities Safe Space at 651-789-2066 (for single adults).
  • Youth (Under 24): Contact the Safe Zone drop-in center at 651-224-9644 (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM). 


Listening House 

Located at 464 Maria Ave. A day-drop center providing coffee, a safe environment, basic hygiene supplies, and a sense of community.
